On Tuesday the inaugural matches in The Golf Southern Tasmania Seniors Pennant were played at North West Bay Golf Club. Five clubs have entered teams in this new pennant format, Royal Hobart, Tasmania, North West Bay, Huon Valley and Iron Pot, with Royal Hobart and Tasmania having two teams. To increase interaction between the golfers, all teams play at the one host club and individual games are played in groups of four.
Royal Hobart had a good start to the pennant with both teams having convincing wins. The results were:

Round 2 of GST Senior Midweek Pennant will be hosted by Tasmania GC on Tuesday 8 March.
