Last weekend was round 4 of this year’s Sunday Pennant competition.
Division 1
RHGC visited Tasmania GC. The match was very closely fought with the eventual result being a 4/3 loss by the team. The standout performance was Jono Deal with a solid 3/2 win at #7. Other team winners were Dan Marsh and former RH club champion Craig Garland. The team’s last round robin match is this weekend at home to KBGC.
Division 2
RHGC visited Claremont GC in a match between the 2 top Div 2 teams. RH had a solid win 4 1/2 – 2 1/2. Great wins by James Sherman (6/5) and Kyle Spruce (7/6). This result put the team at the top of the table with 2 matches to go. The next match is at home against Claremont.
Division 3
RHGC visited Claremont GC. The team had a gutsy 4/3 win that moved them to the top of the table. Great performances by John Bekes and Alex Parker were the foundation of the result. The team’s next match is at home against Claremont.
