Last Saturday (27th August), the Mens Foursomes Championship was played, with 15 pairings playing 36 holes.
Congratulations to the L Bowditch Trophy winners for best gross score, the father / son team of Andrew and Josh Hill, with a 36 hole score of 148, finishing two shots clear of Paul Collins and Daniel Marsh. The L Bowditch Trophy was donated by Len Bowditch in 1950 – Len was winner of both the Tasmanian Championship (1946) and Tasmanian State Amateur Championship (1950) events, and held the Rosny course record of 68 in 1949.
