“Congratulations to Mitch Van Noord from Launceston Golf Club who took out this year’s edition of the Royal Hobart Cup, completing his 36 – holes 1 over the card. A birdie, par finish (Holes 8 and 9), guaranteed a 1 shot victory over Royal Hobart Golf Club member Craig Garland. Craig captured the Royal Hobart Men’s Cup with his morning round of 70 nett, along with the 36-hole Nett low score.
Fellow Royal Hobart Golf Club member Debbie Taylor took home the Women’s Cup. Home course advantage was the order of the day in the junior section with members Audrey Long and Kobe Jordan taking the honours in the Girls and Boy section, respectively.
